5th general body meeting, Sports Engineering Association (SEA) India was conducted on 3rd November’23 at BITS Pilani (Raj.) India
The Team of SEA has visited the NIS Center, Patiala on 26th September 2022 and had a meeting with Col. Raj Singh Bishnoi, Sr Executive Director, NSNIS, Patiala followed by Interaction with coaches and Technical Persons there. The purpose of the visit was to identify the areas to facilitate coaching and training for the coaches there.
REFRESHER COURSE CUM WORKSHOP IN TRIPURA
Refresher course cum workshop on technical demands of sports was organized by the Youth
Affairs and Sports Department, the Govt. of Tripura in collaboration with the Sports Engineering
Association, India on 11th – 13th June 2023 in Agartala. In which Dr. Subir Debnath and Dr. Pintu

After a successful 1st International webinar I on 20th June’20 the SEA has organized the 2nd international webinar II on sports engineering on 18th July’2020. The total number of 306 participants have registered for the webinar II.

The SEA has organized its first webinar on 20th June’20 on sports engineering. Two sessions of 45 minutes each were conducted on the following topics:
1. Application of sports technology in sports performance delivered by Dr David James, MD, Labosports, UK
2. Quality assessment of synthetic sports flooring delivered by Mr
Anil Kumar, MD, Great Sports tech Ltd. India
About 15 minutes allotted at the end of every session for speakers to invite participants for questions. There were 230 participants registered for the webinar I. However, the number of participants fluctuated irregularly throughout the sessions.

the conference was to bridge the gap between Engineering, Technology
and Sports in order to provide a collaborative platform enabling share
of domain knowledge for mutual benefit.
Workshop conducted on sports engineering.
Workshops were coordinated by Prof. David James, Sheffield Hallam University, UK and Prof. Paul Fleming, Loughborough University, UK.
Workshop I deliberated upon application of engineering knowledge in sports development, quality assurance of sports infrastructure and facilities including sports surface and maintenance of the facilities.
While Workshop II deliberate upon how engineering technology can be related to sports development, the engineering properties of various sports surfaces as they affect Design, Performance as well as Injury. Testing devices and their use in quality assurance.
National Seminar on sports engineering was organized on 7th-9th Feb’2019 at Kannur University by Late Prof Suresh Kutty.
An Interactive session was conducted on Importance of technology in sports development in the Indian context.
